🌺 Welcome to my world…

… the journey begins!

“The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides” Audrey Hepburn

A little bit about myself…

My name is Sabela, I am originally From Spain, and currently living in Ireland. I do live in Ireland from the past 4 years and I like it so far, the weather and landscapes are not really different from my homeland, Galicia (Spain).

My homeland it’s called Porto do Son, a small fishing village in the West Coast of Spain, I lived there for the most of my life, and it’s a lovely place where you can see the sunset in winter days. If are curious about where I come from, you can find more information Here. We have amazing places there, beaches, waterfalls, great landscapes and food (the most typical is seafood). I did work there for 4 years in the local tourist information office and it was also an amazing experience.

I decided to come to Ireland due to the lack of good job opportunities in Spain. I studied Art History and Archeaeology in the University of Santiago de Compostela (the city from the well known “Camino“). With these kind of formation, the possiblites to get a job there are quite low (but not impossible, of courseッ), so I decided to come here with no hesitation, and start a new life from the catch.

Everything went well, I got a job in a restaurant as a waitress and it helped me a lot improving my englishand getting used to Ireland and the live here, which I found very exciting (new life, new city, meeting new people, everything was a novelty!). So after that I started working in a customer service position, it was a good step to progress in my career and helped me to improve certain skills that I have at the moment (communication, organization, etc). At this moment I was here for almost a year, so I knew already a lot of new people, made some friends, not too bad!

Actually, and after having a good and productive experience in customer service and partner support, plus several formations, I work in a software multinational as support engineer. It´s been a great experience! It´s my second year within the company and I feel that here in Ireland, the companies find very valuable your skills and they believe in you as a professional (if they see that you can be a good fit in certain roles), which doesn´t happens in many other countries, unfortunately. If you are hard worker, motivated and commited, you have big chances to achieve great goals! I know you’ve heard it a thousand times before, but it’s true: hard work pays off .

And a little bit more about me, I love mantras, astrology, horror films, nature places, animals, food and travel (so much!).

Sabela, why this blog?

Hilarious Memes That Sum Up All Our Feelings About Beauty | Beauty ...

I decided to create this blog to share my tips about beauty (good products which I normally use, with great prices!). In Spain we have a typical expression “bueno, bonito y barato”, which means “good quality, beautiful and cheap”. That´s what I always try to achieve when I try a new product.

Having a perspective of a real woman, its cool, isn´t it? The perfection barely exists or at least I think so. What do you think? Time ago, I didn´t pay too much attention of my daily care (skin, hair, nails,…), but then I realized that getting the best out of me it helped me to raise my self-steem. But of course, always without extra exageration (I love the natural looks, but for sure, it depends for what).

I would love to focus this page on the hair care (hair, lashes) but I will bring much more, for sure! I always loved the beauty world althought I don´t use makeup and products everydays (but almost). I thought about doing this blog, because at the end, I always end using this method to see real results of certain products from another girls. I am so obsessed with the befor and after´s (you too right? c´mon, tell the truth! ).

And as the meme above, in the next post, I will start speaking about lashes. A lash can totally change the expression of your face, it opens your look, it brings more bright to your face. I will explain you how a little product changed my life and allowed me to save money, not having to go to a salon every month to do a lashes extension.

I engourage you to comment my posts, and share also your advises about certain products or your experiences or lifestyle, whatever you want! Please do😊
